You probably submitted a paper application, right? I did the electronic version and could only choose one college, I believe. I would give the individual admissions offices at the colleges you've applied to a ring. They probably have made their decisions by now.

Thanx a lot for so quick an answer. However, I am such an idiot!! I didn't know that the St. Cross College doesn't accept MJur students!! So, I 've got only New (which is rather hard to get in). If I got refused by them, could my application be considered by other Colleges? Do you know something about this??

no worries..yo application will be automatically fowarded to other colleges if you dont get into yo first two:) you are assured of college admission once you are admitted by the faculty.

Busingye is right -- you get in somewhere for sure. If your first couple of choices don't work out, however, it'll just take a little more time to hear back about a college choice since the process is going to take a bit longer.
Good luck with New -- hope to see you there!

Anyone else at New College? And also, out of curiosity, what was it about the college that made you choose it?

Lincoln seems like a good college, right on High Street, I believe, which is a very central location. I choose New College because I spent quite a lot of time there (mostly in their bar, which is excellent) as an undergrad. I was a visiting student at Magdalen, but really loved New College's atmosphere and grounds.

Just got letter of admission from Christ Church. I am now trying to decide between Oxford and the USA... any comments on the college?

Congrats! Christ Church is a beautiful college with great grounds. I think John Locke is buried in their chapel if I remember correctly. I couldn't imagine anything comparing in the US, but I guess it depends on your preferences and plans.

Does anybody have any idea to what extent the financial information provided in the application form plays a part in college allocation? More specifically, if I get a scholarship should I immediately inform the University/Law Faculty? I have not been set any financial conditions in my offer.

Hey Jusme, where abouts are you from in Australia? I'm from Melb, heading to University College.
