i have just discovered this forum and i must say it makes me feel so much better to know that i'm not alone in this agony! i received an offer from cambridge on 23rd march by e-mail from suzanne wade. since then i've been stressing out because camsis hasn't changed and i haven't received anything in the mail - my thoughts have been plagued by concerns that the e-mail might have been a mistake. stupid i know.

unlike most of you, i put all my eggs in the cambridge basket because i like the commercial law courses they offer, and because there are at least 24 full scholarships that i am eligible for, one of which is reserved for a graduate from my university. i put down magdalene college as my first choice because 4 of the scholarships are attached to that college specifically (i'm south african, by the by).

does anyone know when we should expect to hear from the colleges or about funding administered by the cambridge trust? will all be revealed when we receive our "official" offer or when camsis changes?

I am getting very concerned about this whole business of funding...hmmm

Could anyone who has heard anything of scholarships, particularly for Cambridge please share some information as to when and how we would be contacted, and whether interviews will be conducted even for applicants from other continents?

I have contacted an institution in my country that is dealing with cambridge scholarship applications and interviews, through British Council (OSI Chevening in particular) and have been told that no decisions will be made before June!

I just discovered this forum last night. This is just a thought, and might be stupid one. The Cambridge website says that the Law Faculty will finalise decisions by today. But CamSIS is updated by the Board of Graduate Studies. So, presumably, those (like me) who have received their offer and are waiting to find out what the conditions will be - i.e., those who are waiting for CamSIS to be updated and the formal letter sent - might have to wait a little longer than the 15 April.

Also, has anyone heard from the colleges (either at Oxford or Cambridge), or does anyone know when we are likely to find out?

I received my Cambridge offer via email on Feb 17th - still no Camsis update, still no official letter in the post. Heard nothing regarding colleges. I guess we just gota keep waiting...
