Congrats Iustitia!

Not changing subjects but I have been researching Uni rankings, and noticed that Cam usually outperforms Ox.

Which one are you most fond of?

As a word of warning, the league tables you find in the Times, Telegraph, Guardian etc are not really applicable to postgraduate study and so should be taken, in the very least, with a large pinch of salt. Maybe the recent RAE law results ratings would give a better picture of where current staff research is deemed as world leading, and thus the quality of the teaching available to the postgraduate student but really, you need to delve deeper into the faculty to see how it rates. No league table can tell you the best place to study IP in the UK is QMUL, or that, for example, Essex Uni has one of the leading Human Rights programmes.

just in case...my offer is dated January so maybe it was sent with a delay. it's possible because I had a specific situation due to changes in the educational system of my country, for which they required an explanation. I'm just saying this could be possible...because Cambrige wasn't supposed to make any more offers until the end of March...

Its nice to know atleast one Indian has made through...and I ll take care of not resorting to the SMS lingo..in the future. I was going through your blog posts and really liked them. You have quite a talent for prose..ever thought about ditching law to pursure a Masters in literature.. :) So whats your take on the next round of offers??

Hey Lustitia,

are you in any way involved with any pro-women activism kind of thing?

I just thought your offer might have something to do with International Women's Day...:)
