Tigerland,
More than the physical arthritis, it is a question of ending the sustained mental torture that one is going through. Of course, you have other things to occupy yourself and 2nd options that you have clinically chosen, but it is really a razor-sharp edgy situation for those whose life now hinges on an e-mail or may be the self-service.
Best of luck to all
Absolutely! At the moment there is a black hole at the end of June where I have no idea where I will be or what I will be doing (and that is even with a Plan B)!
Do you not have a backup plan should the email contain bad news? And would you re-apply for the following year?

Having no backup plan sucks. I have not received a single answer so far, only a deferral to regular cycle by Columbia. So it seems that only march shall reveal my real options.

I'm clinging really hard to the BCL...

Jags,
I have applied to 7 unis in total. But 9 courses.
In the US: Harvard, Yale, Columbia and Chicago (LLMs)
UK: Ox (M.Jur and Msc Criminology) Cam (LLM and considering applying to the M.Phil. in Criminology) and LSE (LLM and MSc Criminal Justice Policy)
Quite a few rejections needed if I am not to be accepted by anyone.

Alvin,
May be you are too good at getting the aims right on. You would get it if you have such a strong conviction about BCL.
Hey Jag, thanks for your inspirational and motivating comment.
I have a friend doing his Phd (Chemistry) at Oxford. He has made three wishes during his meditation retreat. Two of his wishes came through. The third is for me, hehe.

Do I read this right; you missed out on a first overall by a whisker? Or, are you just referring to your final semester? If so, thats tough luck. I always said during my last year, I either want 65/66 or 70+. Anything else would have haunted me, I'm sure.
On a brighter note, I found it interesting to read that thread from last year- how it reminds me of us as we go through the same emotional turmoil! Pity it tailed off so much after they started getting offers/rejections- it was just getting exciting! lol

The brackets don't convey the right sense do they?
I missed a First in my final semester by a whisker.
Neither did it affect my First in the final year or the First in the entire course of law..
In the end, I have a First.
For the emotional turmoil, it did give me a lot of security to see that other people over the years have gone through similar periods.

Sorry, that was completely my fault. My feelings of sorrow have dissipated into embarrassment!
Shame they all seem to be waiting around until March time. Interesting though, it seemed as if, at least for Cam, that results may be released by country grouping.

lol is that a subtle way of telling me that i probably should have waited until I have finished my degree before I applied to Cam? XD

Actually, it isn't.
I was just stating how it was a blessing in disguise for me.
I hope you would know the conditions of your offer by the time you sit do to take the exams or at least, you would be on your vigil.
