Just received my BCL offer. The fucking magic button was there up until the last time I 've checked. Now it's not.

May I ask how long before getting the offer did you check your portal? Thanks!

Are there any more BCL offers left to be issued today? I was wondering what happened to the supposedly second batch of BCL offers.

Probably safe to say it’s likely done now. The person who contacted the Faculty yesterday said we should hear by tomorrow afternoon if your application has been successful. Don’t be tormenting yourselves guys. It’s just a masters (obviously not for one second taking from all offer holders) and statistically you’re more likely to be rejected than accepted. The difference between shortlisted and success in a contest of this ridiculously high calibre will, I’m afraid, often be down to luck and other random factors.

Thanks for the odd bit of entertainment on this thread. I have now informed the Faculty that I will be asking for my button to be returned to me as a token of the ordeal!

This is the only email I have too just got slightly overexcited by it and called it an offer, no idea when to expect the actual offer.

yes is the email i got, took me a few reads to fully process that it was a (sort-of) offer because it was phrased very weirdly
