I applied for the Dual program of University of Cergy-Pontoise + University of Dundee and sent application materials to the Cergy-Pontoise University address.
Could you please let me know what is the tuition fee for the full course of the Dual LL.M. programme (including two periods in Scotland and France)?
Is it necessary to send additional application to the Dundee University? If so, does on-line application form (UKRPASS) of University of Dundee contain the option for the Dual programme or it is possible to choose LLM course in international commercial law (P022119) to apply for the Dual programme?
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks for your message. If appying through the University of Dundee the total fees for the programme are as follows:-
EU students £3950
Non-EU students £8500
If you apply through UCP then you will be taught in French when spending your semester there. If you wish to be taught in English for the entire duration of the programme then you should apply through the University of Dundee.
You should be able to select an option for the Joint LL.M on UKPASS but if this is not available then please select the International Commercial Law programme and make it clear on the application that you are interested in the Joint LL.M.
If you require further information please do not hesitate to contact me (f.j.clark@dundee.ac.uk).

I have heard that CEPMLP is separate from Law School of University of Dundee.
How would you compare LLM Int. Commercial Law offered by University of Dundee and LLM International Business Law offered by CEPMLP Dundee?
The tuition fees of CEPMLP is £10000 whereas in Dundee Law it is £8500 for non-EU. I guess all graduates will get the same University of Dundee Degree.
What is difference between 2 programmes?
Please guide me.
Thanks,
TM

The School of Law and the CEPMLP are separate entities within the College of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Dundee. Both award Dundee degrees.
The CEPMLP is one of 3 Centres within the Postgraduate School of Management and Policy. It is a graduate school and employs an interdisciplinary approach to teaching, research and consultancy in the field of international business transactions and natural resources and energy law and policy.
The School of Law is focussed exclusively on legal research and legal training both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. All main areas of law are covered within the teaching and research portfolios of academic staff.
Reference must be made to the websites of the School of Law and the Centre to compare the structure, content and organisation of their LLM programmes.

Students applying for University of Dundee accommodation apply each semester and also for the summer period so it will be no problem for the University to accomodate short-term leases.

The first semester in Cergy will be from September - December 2008. If you spend the second semester with Dundee University, you will start on 19 January 2009. Dissertation preparation commences during the second semester in Dundee. Supervision sessions then take place in June and July.
