Will someone from Scotland or someone who is familiar with these two schools/cities comment on the pros and cons of these? Thanks!

If you want to do an LL.M. go for Oxford, Cambridge, UCL or LSE. You can do specialised LLMs at the London unis and that's a big benefit, don't forget.
Whoever keeps banging on about Warwick, just hush up. It's a polytechnic in a dire part of the country. It's not a top University, and you'll struggle to find successful lawyers either here or abroad with degrees from there. Don't go on about how firms visit your campus with such glee, MC firms visit Leeds uni, nuff said.

In some asian countries, i believe oxford is renowned ahead of cambridge while some persons consider cambridge a more competitive place to study. But for postgraduate, interalia, LLM, BCL/MJur is definitely more
demanding and thus more well-known. I should express my opinion that Oxford maybe at this level may surpass Cambridge.

The BCL is definitely the most respected qualification in the common law world.

Such a tired debate! Oxford or Combridge, goodness knows how man other posts on this site are about the same and similar thing. Not that I'm suggesting anything interesting to debate, just saying.

Ok, I guess a lot of people argued about University of Warwick! I'm a foreigner (Eastern Europe) and in this part of the world Warwick is considered as one of the TOP (well, Oxford and Cambridge are considered to be better of course).
I'll probably take their Corporate Governence and Financial Regulations LLM. Considering that I already have two LLM's and that Warwick LLM would be free for me cuz I've got scholarship for that, the only thing that bothers me is what is Warwick itself? would it be fun enough to live there for 12 months ?!

in regards to international reputation, why no just have a look at some world rankings to get a general idea, and then choose from top 10, depending on courses and locatioin? it will obviously be an individual choice and you may find unis like warwick far better than king's and LSE, yet the rankings remain and reflect opinions beyond one's individual, so stop the aruging and realise than a general perception would not consider warwick a top uni, yet numerous students would.
on a different matter, does anyone have first hand experience on King's reputation in America?

Cambridge and Yale are probably the most highly regarded. Then come Stanford, Harvard and Oxford.

i believe no.1 is yale....
reason- very less seats, you can even think of harvard but not of yale...
For the world Harvard and Cambridge are the best but for me as a law student/professional.... Yale is something beyond our reach..

GULC is one of the best in TAX..
n Kings is good for many ... like in Commercial law...
In terms of reputation....In US, law firms reconise GULC..... and in UK... of course Kings... but kings college is famous in Asia,EU,and in USA... so majority go with Kings but in terms of Tax law... i prefer GULC..

which one is more prestigious
GULC or KCL?
Georgetown Law Center is more prestigious in countries that value a Jesuit education. It is also preeminent in the modern fields of law due to its year-round continuing legal education program.
