I thought we might as well start a thread on the LSE and UCL admission offers.
The LSE website says that decisions are made on a rolling basis and the chances are greater if one applies early. Does any one know that all things being equal, how much difference there is between applying in the beginning of October and in late November (as is my case)?
Have LSE or UCL started offering admissions?

Hi there,
I have also applied to do an LLM at the LSE. The short answer to your question is "I don't know", but having looked at some old threads on this board, it does appear that generally, the earlier you submit your application, the earlier you receive a decision.
I checked the site today and my application is still "under consideration" (like most people, I imagine) but I did notice that the box under that has disappeared all together -- the one that talks about funding assistance ("we have received your application for graduate funding support and it will be considered", etc.)
That likely doesn't mean anything, but I mention it because we law students like to analyze everything to death!

Hi Everyone. Would you check in your LSE for you if you still have the box about the scholarship application just under the status of application?
Thanks
Thanks

Nope, as I said above, the box has been removed on my page.
I assume that it means nothing, but who knows.

The scholarsip/financial box has been removed in my status web page as well. I guess its just routine procedure!!

there seems to be some problem with the web page in respect of the scholarship column...
it cant have been rejected so soon because they dont even look at the scholarship applications till an offer has been made...
and given that everyone of is facing the same problem, there surely is something amiss with the system..

I just checked, and my scholarship box is still there. You guys certainly have been rejected... just joking. I'm sure it means nothing.
Posted Dec 12, 2008 20:04
i hv written to the guys at lse about the problem...
lets wait for thier response..
anyways, if it were to mean nothing, the message could hv been no scholarship rather than the box disappearing..
so wait for thier response!!

Congratulations, Interalia!
If you don't mind me asking, did your status change on your LSE page before you got the package in the mail?
