hi all;
Re LSE, Can any fellow applicant kindly convey how long is the Personal Statement @ LSE required to be?
The Graduate Prospectus 2010 says it ought to be 1000-1500 words; so, I followed that and it came to 4-5 pages on the MS-word.
But when I saw a Preview of my online application, the instructions along with the "Personal Statement question" said it ought to be 2-3 pages with no specific word limit.
I was wondering if any of you guys could clarify the correct position

Mine is around 1300 words. The length really doesn't matter. What matters is, your driving force for choosing:
a) The United Kingdom as your destination for higher studies.
b) Why you chose the specific University and how the Module there would help augment your knowledge over the specific subject you decide to specialise in.
c) Why the specific subject- How you developed an interest in that particular subject during your stint at law school. ( talk about your internships, where you worked in that specific area of law)
Cheers.

Thanks!
But would I also talk about things such as extra-curricular activities? I was thinking of including things like debating competitions, being a student representative, mentor and student ambassador, etc. - or is it really just about the subject?
