LSE or UCL LLM

Hi! I was accepted by both LSE and UCL for the LLM programme but am still undecided as to where to go. The league tables from Times and Guardian show different rankings. Could anyone shed some light? Many thanks.

I would probably pick LSE as it has a better reputation. That said it is considerably more expensive that UCL and if money is a concern I don't think that you would be making the wrong decision going to UCL.

I've been at the LSE as an undergraduate student and it has been the best time of my life - both academically and socially. Then again, I have no comparison to UCL really.

However, this very question has been asked before on this board.

For example:

Good luck with your choice :-)

Both are excellent. It is a tough choice. In UK, I think that UCL reputation for law is better but aboard LSE is far better known, especially due to its international recognition for economics.

LSE is more expensive and it is more difficult to obtain a student accomodation.

I hope it helps you.
