LSE applicants 2013/2014

I had a phone call with them as I'm in a similar situation. The clearly said the program is "closed" and no more places available. They consider the application for the second choice.

Your problem seems to be that your application is not completed as documents are missing. They don't consider your application until you provide ALL necessary documents.

@ all applicants: I will most likely withdraw my place so one will be available in about 4-5 weeks time when my response time is up. So good luck to you all!

I just graduated from a canadian law school with a bachelor of civil law (LL.B.). One of my references was from a professor at my university, and my professional reference was from my boss at a law firm abroad where I completed an internship last summer. Thanks

I have been waiting since the beginning of february for LSE to answer....
I am going crazy!!! I have extended every possible deadline with other universities and I seriously do not know what to do now. I see that the program is closed now so WHY dont they tell us???

I am sorry I just wanted to share my frustration with someone who understands:(

I agree they should tell us more quickly. I don't see the reason why it takes them as long to give us feedback. the program is full and that's the reality.

All the best regarding your second choice.

I asked about the fourth email of my friend who just got an offer...it was on 14th or 15th of february...somewhere in that week.but the documents were uploaded much much earlier.
but I agree with previous post-there are other nice schools with better attitude towards applicants!!

I agree that their attitude has not been the gratest this year at least...
I am still confused here...
why don not they just let us know that we are all rejected?

You think we (well at least someone;) might be waitlisted or sth?
I have given up on them but the fact that they have given me no response somehow keeps me from accepting my other offer. I will let go by the end of the week I guess. Good luck to the hopeful ones!

First of all, LSE works very slowly every year. This is surprising, especially when considering the fact that they are ranked very high based on their student-staff-ratio.
And once again: No one is rejected unless this is posted in your LSE 4 you account. LSE simply does not know how many offer holders will withdraw their offer. I am holding an offer from the 4th of April and will most likely withdraw it at the end of my six week acceptance deadline.
So one place will be free at this date. But LSE cannot offer you my place before that date simply because they do not know how I will decide.
So it is definitely possible to get in around may or june. LSE has made several offers around the beginning of April because thats the closing date of the program. So there will be a lot of people who must decide wether to accept their offer or not.
To put it in a nutshell, your chance is still high you just have to wait until these offers time out.
And by the way, you can accept the other offer and withdraw it when you get into LSE. They are used to this process...

Thank you Sven.

Luckily I am ready and set with my IELTS an all.
I am just frustrated because I applied (with all documents) in January and recieved my 4th e-mail almost 4 weeks later. So I lost a lot of time due to their processing time and not me!

Anyhow, I will just stop dwelling on it and go do sth productive!;)

Hi guys.

I took over my friends account here... I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what is the general atmosphere like at LSE LLM program? I know it sounds stupid, but that is one of my decision factors. any thoughts or feelings please.
