london schools: competition law rankings

EUlawdude

if one was to rank the different schools in london (and LONDON ONLY) in terms of the strength of their programs in EU competition law, how might they rank against one another?

and if they've previously been ranked by some outside source, a link would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

If I'm not mistaken LSE and arguably UCL have a better reputation on the whole HOWEVER for Competition Law- King's is without a doubt top dog in London- if not in the UK. My tutor who specialized in this area reckons it is 4th in the world for competition...

I totally agree with llegrand. KCL is without any doubt the best institution for competition law in the UK and together with the College of Europe in Bruges one of the best in Europe. KCL's Professor Whish is considered the most renowned scholar in this area. Professor Alison Jones also teaches at KCL.
I'm not sure about 4th in the world though...

No , to be honest, neither am I ... I've never seen it written down anywhere- but my tutor practices both in the UK and the US- so he has a pretty good idea and I think world rankings in particular subjects are VERY subjective. So who knows, maybe not fourth, but if he said that, then competition at King's is without a doubt international recognized.
