I put in my request to live on campus. I'm originally from California, but I have been living in Paris, FR for the past 3 years and now currently doing an internship in The Hague. Where are you from? I was told the Lemmington Spa is the best area to live if you are going to live off campus--so says my former british professor from undergraduate studies. Where are you all from?

I'm portuguese and I've just finished the bachelor's degree, in Oporto. I checked the campus rents and they seemed quite expensive. I've seen the spareroom.co.uk and I think I prefer to share a students house. The best areas should be earlsdon and canley because, concerning what I read, it's close to the uni and to an area with pubs and restaurants. Most of the "off-campus" accommodation provided by the uni are there as well.
Can you tell me why is Lemmington Spa a good area?
Unfortunately I don't know anyone who studies or studied in Warwick.

Hi ! I didn't get accommodation on campus so I am also looking for a place but I want a place where I don't have to walk that much to the bus station in order to reach the campus.. And preferably single sex ..
Hey inesmaria where are u from ??

Oh and I just read ur post above ! :) I haven't started seeing places as yet .. But yes I was also told by a senior to get a place at leamington spa ..

I am unfamiliar with the Coventry area as well, but my former professor from the UK told me that Lemmington Spa is the nicest area around the school. I'm female. How much are you anticipating for rent? I would be interested in a flatmate situation if it is cheaper than oncampus and with international students. I just didn't want to be isolated.

Me too! I was thinking about 200 or 250 pounds/month with or without bills and also with international students (I went to granada for one year for erasmus and was great).
I checked that area and it must bem good cause the prices are higher than near the train station and earlsdon.
Anyway, I would prefer to stay in a walking distance area either to the uni and the centre of coventry.
give me your emails so we can "meet"!
