Yes the 4,000 characters in the personal statement does include spaces.

Anytime

Wow!! Congratulations :)

I am writing my personal statement these days. May I ask you something? Does the 4000 characters limit include spaces?

Thank you very much.

Great news guys!

I spoke to KCL admissions today, they are rolling out their official offers for the first wave of applications next week.

The very kind lady informed me that I will be receiving an offer.

In her 9 years of experience, KCL decides on merit first then takes into account number of places available. 'It is rare that someone who meets the academic requirements doesn't receive an offer if there are spaces available'.

This is great news both for me and those applying who meet the academic requirement!

I applied to QMUL, KCL and LSE. I was waitlisted @LSE last year, so I'm crossing my fingers I get accepted now! Does a spot on the "reserve group" mean I am on the "easy" track this year? I've been wondering, as I was not able to choose an specialism, or attach my IELTS when reinstating. It is my top choice, so I'm really nervous!

I have already been offered a spot @ KCL, and I'm waiting for QMUL, and I am getting quite anxious, as I've heard that QMUL is quite quick in responding, but it's been about 2 weeks! Ok, I guess I'll just breathe and wait now.

Hi JordB may I ask what date you applied to KCL as I am still waiting to receive an official offer from them?

Hi, Naz:

I applied on October 18, and was requested an employment proof about two weeks later. After I uploaded the certificate, it only took them three days to respond! I received my unconditional offer this monday, November 12.

So, about 3 weeks? I feel like I was really lucky! I am sure you’ll hear from them soon enough with your offer!!

Waiting with bated breath. I hope no communication means good news, as I have heard they send rejections earlier. I agree! So very nerve wrecking!

You mean they have already sent out rejections this year?

Hi everyone!
I submitted my application to KCL on November 12th, to QMUL on November 15th and to LSE yesterday! How long will I be waiting, in your opinion? I read that for LSE we will have to wait until January (at least, I hope).

Thanks!

QMUL answered in about 10 days. King's in about three weeks. LSE does take quite some time to answer, however rejections are sent out within a few weeks

@Nat: Hey. I don't know if they have sent out rejections this year. But seeing posts from 2016 and 2017 here, I gathered that perhaps LSE sends out rejection mails earlier. However, I did see some people mentioning that they got rejection letters 8 weeks later too.

Let's see. Hopefully, it will be good news for us. :-)

Did anyone notice UCL’s requirement to submit written work in the LLM application? I was very confused where to attach this because there was no section in the portal to include this

I noticed only after I submitted my application and I sent an email to the admissions office to request to submit this after. I was advised to send my written work to them via email and this would be attached to my application. They have yet to confirm receipt
