Just received an offer, ah! I have to achieve a first but I am excited nonetheless! :D

Hi guys, for those who have received an offer from LSE, under 'Conditions of Offer or Notes', mine writes:

"Degree with upper second class honours -
You are required to obtain your Bachelor's degree with upper second class honours."

Does that mean I have to reach >60% or >65% (as traditionally requested?) What are your thoughts?

They indicated in the offer email that I am required to obtain second upper honours with at least 65%.

Although i am very happy with my offer, I still have my fingers crossed. good luck for all of us! 2017 will be an incredible year for us and i hope to see you soon in London!

Hi guys,

I've receiced a conditional offer from King's. Nevertheless, on the letter, it's written "This offer is conditional on your meeting the following requirements:" and nothing written under it (except "You must provide evidence of meeting the condition(s) of your offer by midnight (GMT) on Wednesday, 31st August 2017.").

Therefore, I am not sure what the conditions are. I guess it's my English test I am going to pass in 10 days but I'm not sure. Could anybody help me ? I'm planning on calling them but the admissions office is closed until the 3rd of January.


By the way, do we all agree that King's College is the best place to study Competition Law ? It's what I heard from a lot of people, the professors and lecturers are great... but I would like some advice. I did not apply to LSE, UCL and QMUL yet.

Hi there! Congratulations! :) Did you apply for a specific LLM, or the general one? What are your areas of interest?

I just got an offer from KCL, so I might go there in September! Although I also got an offer from UCL, so I'm still hesitating - though I have months to decide so I'm taking my time. I'm also waiting for three other universities, which happen to be my top three, so we'll see. :)

I actually applied last year, but, due to some issues at work, I had to defer my LL.M. to 2017 academic year. Now KCL has sent me an e-mail asking me to choose my LLM specialism, but I'm still very confused and undecided (with an orientation to International Business Law, so far).
What specialism are you interested in?
