LLM in QM or SOAS

Legal_Indi...

I don't understand. who has told you or given you an impression that QMUL is not better than SOAS in the emerging market legal systems (and for that matter even Arbitration or any other specific subject you have mentioned above.)

Further, most of the top line Universities provide for comparative view alongwith the UK experience in all general modules. That is how it is for most of the Universities in London.

And if you haven't realised even QMUL is a part of University of London....SOAS is not the only one...so that point does not count.

And the city law firms and Corporate law firms in london have preffered QMUL over SOAS since quiet sometime...! So I think you are mistaken with the reputation of SOAS in the legal market over here.

And not to mention SOAS will be sending many students for their modules to QMUL lectures...So a few modules of SOAS have since last 2-3 years been taught by QMUL...!

I am not questioning the quality of either.

I simply prefer SOAS nothing more. I believe your points are all correct.

Its a matter of preference nothing else...!!!

The reputation of both is good. I don't believe it is bad at all! on the contrary.!!!

Times and Guardian both place QMUL as no.9 in rankings for 2010. So QMUL has finally broken into the top 10.

SOAS is very much a part of University of London. However I agree its administration is worst of all.

Hey what kind of conditional offer was made from SOAS? I'm applying there and just wanted to get an idea.

My experience with SOAS admin has been great! they have replied to all of my emails the same day.

Initially my offer was conditional upon taking an English test, but I emailed them and told them that my first language English and within two days they sent me an unconditional offer!

I am very excited by the courses on offer. I am definitely going to SOAS if I can get the requisition funding.
