Dear all,
I'm a newbie here and please forgive me, my question may have already been asked.
I am a french student and I am going to apply for an LLM of Commercial/Intellectual property Law un the UK for next academic year. However, I am preparing the Bar exam in france which may end in November.
Does anybody knows a good LLM of commercial/IP law which may start at the beginning of 2007?
Thanks a lot
Vincent

As far as I know University of Aberdeen and University of Glasgow both have the facility of January Entry and they offer both International Commercial Law and also IPLaw.
All the best.

Yes, Glasgow is offering a February enrolment in both programs. This recent thread might be of interest to you:

Matthias, did you apply? Do you know if it's too late for 2007?
Posted Mar 14, 2006 14:28
Yes I did apply and already accepted their offer some weeks ago.
For the September 2007 intake it is absolutely NOT too late. You are way too early applying already now. It would have been enough for you to apply in December of this year. But since they are doing the rolling application thing (first come first served) you should be on the safe side now.
See my reply to your PM too.

Oh yeah, I forgot that you are going to start in January. Don´t worry, for the January 2007 intake you are perfectly on time too. You generally should apply approximately 9 months in advance, so you could have easily waited until April/May. Having applied already now you are just fine on your schedule. :-)
I don´t remember what I PM´ed you earlier, haha, maybe it works when you´re at home.

It was the last official day for applications for the January intake for the LL.M Innovation, Technology and the Law (distance learning) at The University of Edinburgh today! It's amazing how many applications came in at the last minute.
We are still able to take some extras in January though, but if you're interested, you'd better hurry!
Good luck to all those who are starting in January on their LL.M, particularly if you're coming to the colder parts of the northern hemisphere from the warmer parts of the southern hemisphere.
I have already been talking with Pappu, who is coming to Scotland from what sounds like a very warm place - my advice to him was "wrap up warm, and bring some waterproofs!" But now I remember a saying I was once told "there's no such thing as bad weather, only wrong clothing".
Enjoy the winter or the summer wherever you are.
Colin.
