Yes, you are correct. I received the e-mail at the beginning of December. The hard copy arrived last Saturday (Mexican post is awfull). As a matter of fact, I received first my confirmation letter (mid-December), since it was sent via a courier service.
Hope this helps

Hey Patomtz
I received unconditional offers from KCL and Queen Mary and I am interested in a competition focused LLM. But I am waiting for my UCL application result. Even if I don't get admitted to UCL I still have to decide between KCL and Queen Mary. Did you have to decide between them? Why did you pick KCL?
Cheers

Demian,
From the research I did, I found that KCL was the most renowned university in the competition field the UK and number two in Europe, just after the College of Europe (for which I understand you have to know French). (I know these is very subjective, so take it with a grain of salt).
In Mexico, only Oxbridge and LSE are commonly known, but since they do not have specialized competition courses, they were not my preferred choices.
Having the possibility to attend Richard Whish's class was the thing that made me choose KCL. UCL was my second choice because of the subjects. Queen Mary I did not consider it since it has no economics course focused in competition, which was also something I liked from KCL and UCL.
In my opinion, KCL has more recognition in the competition field, but UCL is also a close competitor. Either one you choose will be a good choice.
Hope I was of assistance.
