Hey! Does anyone know how difficult it is to get a permission from King's to work while doing full time LLM course. Apparently, they have to agree before. I have a job now and want to continue working during weekends but I'm not sure if they let me. I guess we are supposed to focus on studying but well, living in London costs...If someone knows anything about it, please let me know. Thanks!

The answer is - extremely easy. I work 35hr a week + and they are fine with it.

Great! It's good to know that. They didn't put any limit of working hours per week or they just don't care?

It's not the school that limits you working, it's the student visa you get from the UK. Technically, if you have a student visa, you are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week. What I think she means is that the school will look the other way.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not too worried about visa as an EU citizen but the university made it clear in their offer and letter they had sent that we should not work as full time students unless allowed by KCL. I hope they will let me work and won't make any problems with it. Well, I guess we will find out soon.
