Just got an offer from KCL! there's just one issue: I'll graduate with final score of 85 (or maybe up to 87%). They asked for 90%, as a condition. Is that negotiable? Do you guys know if they accept lowering it, as it remains first class?
See you all in september! Thanks!

I think it is weird they have asked for such result. my conditional offer isn't about that at all... So I don't know how successful I should be as well then.
I guess you can have 85%. Well to me, I think it's possible. Sorry I can't help....

Yeah, I was impressed. The website stated that requirements for my home country, Brazil, are of 70%. Considering that my Uni is one of the 5 best here, it is funny they ask for such a high final score like 90%.
I'll send them a message and try to negotiate; let's see if they accept 85% in the end ;)
Thanks!

Kiwiii, they did, thanks!! I've called them and it was a mistake on their part: they do not require 9/10, but 7/10. But I had to call them, as I had no answer when I sent a message through the online system. ;)

Hi guys, congrats to all admitted applicants. I am about to apply to King's, but have a few questions about the application. I have sent them an email but still no response from them. I appreciate if any of you can enlighten me:
1. What is the meaning of high-upper second class honours? My lawschool do not have any ranking system for their graduate.
2. I graduated in 2009. For the reference letter, is it possible for me to submit 2 reference letters from my work supervisor? Further, is it possible if i just attach the reference letter in my application? I am just thinking for the convenient of my referees. Of course if it is strictly required, I have to ask my referees to do so.
Thank you everyone.

Hi Cuba,
1. Every school has a ranking system, in the UK, high-upper second class honours means a degree with a total final average above 6.5/10. In my case (Spain) they asked me for a 7.0/10 to be considered and in case of Brazilians nearly a 9.0/10 for example. Just check with your law school your final grade and send it to King's in your application. I recommend you not to send emails, apply directly now, and later remedy possible lacks or errors.
2. Relating to your reference letters, you cannot send 2 letters from the same referee, they normally have to come from different institutions or nature. Ej Professional or Uni.
Hope this helps.
Cheers.
Pablo.

There's no such thing as KCUL anymore. It almost became KL (King's London) earlier this year but that's a story for another now. It's KCL (King's College London) now

Hey guys, does anybody know if KCL's LLM offers a "semester abroad" program? I was looking for some information on the website but I can't seem to find much insight on the matter... there's only one section, but I should have a KCL account to have access and I still haven't accepted my offer!
Thanks in advance to anyone who may answer!

I received offer from KCL 4 days ago in International Tax. I just logged in the online track application and I could acess my account without any problems.
