Hi!
I have a simple and probably stupid question: Does KCL (LLM in Competition Law) require any reference letter? I applied online today however could not find any tab to upload my reference letters or something like that.
Thank you.

I sent them a message questioning exactly that, because their website states that reference are required. They answered me saying it no longer applies... They can offer you a place without the letters.
If you wish to send them anyway, you'll be able to attach them through Kings Apply once you complete your application.
Best luck!

Can you choose specializations while applying in KCL?

Thank you, it is really helpful. Since I am not a law graduate I think I'd better send some reference letters. Can I do it through ''View and send messages'' link?

No, you can't. I wrote it that way because I did not pay attention to that detail :)

Hi everyone!
Any QMUL offer holders? Have received a conditional offer from QMUL for the LLM in International Dispute Resolution. Any suggestions regarding other good programmes in this field in the UK?
Thanks in advance!

Hi guys,
Has anyone who applied to KCL since the beginning of this month heard anything back to date? I notice many people earlier on in the thread mentioned they have received offers within 10 days or so. I made mine on the 2nd and have yet to hear anything.
Does anyone know if the admissions offices are still until the Christmas holidays or whether it will be the New Year before they are back?
Best of luck to all applicants, hope to see some of you in London next year :)

Congratulations on your offers! Would you mind sharing what your credentials are (whether you got a 2.1 or a 1.1, which uni you did your undergrad in, work experience etc) so those of us who are still waiting can see whether we have a realistic chance of admission?

@DublinLLM Thanks!
I have foreign qualifications so I don't think that will be of a lot of help to you..But I did have work experience! I heard back from King's in less than two weeks though - I applied beginning of November, maybe it takes longer if you apply in December cuz of holidays

I have the same doubt. I applied on 5th of this month and have only heard from them upon my query regarding the Referee requirements.
I hope they reply before 25th.

I applied on 3th but they have only asked me to send an original certificate of my postgradute studies. I really hope to hear back from them before 25th.

Have either of you received the message from KCL regarding the update in documents? It basically just says that your supporting documents (i.e. transcripts and PS) have been reviewed and accepted. I got mine on the 10th.
@Henson
Thanks for that, very helpful. Congratulations! Do you mind saying when you got the message about the update in document status?
I just checked the KCL term dates and it seems that Semester I ended on the 11th. Semester II doesn't start until January 18th. I'd be very interested to know if anyone received any communication from KCL since Dec 11th. If not, it looks as though we'll have to wait until well into the New Year!

No I've got no such message as yet. And doesn't accepted mean that they have been approved and admitted? I'm not very hopeful now after knowing about this message of yours. :(

It just means someone has reviewed them and they are suitable to go forward for consideration as far as I know! I suspect that they stopped working on applications on the 11th and won't resume until the 18th. If that's right, it means they took 8 days to review my docs. If you only submitted on the 5th they would have had max 6 days to review yours, so no need to worry! :)

I don't think so. LSE's webpage says that offers will go out in January.
