I just received unconditional offers from QMUL and Kings today within two hours in addition to University of Westminster, London where I just applied out of curiosity to test the strength of my application (I was told they process applications and respond quite early). Really uncanny! Kind of hopelessly wishing LSE also extends me an offer soon. Cheers to others who got through and best of luck to those in waiting!

I got offers from LSE, UCL and KCL! I am interested in Banking and Financial Regulation so I have doubts between LSE and UCL. Any recommendations?

I'm from Peru.

Best luck for everyone!

Hey guys,

I've gotten into QMUL. Waiting for LSE & UCL to get back.

I applied to UCL on 18th Dec and LSE on 16th Jan. Has anyone who applied around or after those dates - heard back yet? Please let me know! TIA

Just accepted a conditional offer from QMUL for Corp & Commercial law!
But I'm still in double minds about going to Leiden, Netherlands for the same course.
Does anyone have any idea about decent internship, pre-placements (during your course) and future job prospects in the U.K. (ps- I'm Indian)
And also, has anyone heard of job prospects from other countries if you graduate from QMUL (besides your home country)
Thanks :)

What I can perceive from the comments of offer holders is that KCL is not as good as compared to LSE or UCL. And about the position of QMUL I cannot really gather much. I have not applied in LSE and UCL, as I did not score well enough in my toefl and the requirements of these two are really high. I hold offers from KCL, QMUL, Glasgow and Manchester. Can somebody guide me more about what other colleges I should apply next and which college is best among all the ones I hold offers from?

Hi guys,
Congratulations to everyone who currently holds an LLM offer, and best of luck to those who are still awaiting results or at the application process! I am currently in the process of making my application to UCL Kings and LSE, but I have one question in mind which makes me have second thoughts about applying... I have received a 2:1 (64%) from a UK russell group university. Can you all please advise me on my likelihood of getting offers from any of the three aforementioned universities? I would be ever so grateful if offer holders could kindly give me an indication as to their respective grades/predicted grades?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Hello everybody, and congratulations on your offers!
I've meet accepted for the LL.M at UCL and the Master in International Law at the Graduate Institute in Geneva. Does anyone have some experience with these two programs? Considering that I want to specialize on human rights, which one would you recommend?
Thank you!

Hi guys, question- if i did some interships during college and i'm putting that in cv, Should i ask that law offices some written proof or recommendation, and attach it to my application or it is not advisible? I'm not sure will it boost my application or that is too much? Thanks!

From what I know, it's far from obvious to say that LSE is better than UCL. A few friends or professors I know, who are British, told me that both universities are excellent and you absolutely can't say one is better than the other : it's all about preferences, feelings, etc.

However, someone told me that he was disappointed by his LLM experience at LSE : not a lot of extracurricular activities, a degree that wasn't that well regarded amongst LSE, conferences with amazing speakers but very difficult to attend, etc.

At the same time, I have no idea if UCL is better on those points. And of course, as with any opinion, it's quite subjective...

Plus, I'm pretty sure that you would be surrounded by future investment bankers at the LSE which is good as you're specialized in banking and financial regulation.

So honestly you have two amazing options and a tough choice... I hope it helps. Good luck !!
