I just received an offer today. It's a conditional offer, pending IELTS results because I'm an international student. I applied end of November last year.

Hi! Did KCL ask just for IELTS? or give you the option to take the TOEFL?

my application just got updated and now my degree certificate status is "document is ok" and my personal statement "meets needs for assessment", is this a good sign?

Where are you able to see this ? On my Portal I am only able to see my Status (which is submitted)

unconditional offer received today! Indeed, this update on the portal was a good sign. I submitted my application December 22th.

I would like to seek a suggestion regarding the personal statement - Would it be fine if my ps went over the limit of 4000 characters but within the two pages limit? 

The application website said it could be either but I just wanted to be sure. Contacted KCL for this but did not receive any replies :( Any insights would be helpful, thanks!
