Hi everybody,

I am currently completing my LLB in EU law in the Netherlands. It is not a qualifying law degree, therefore my only chance to practice law would be taking a GDL or something like that.
I am now considering an LLM in EU law/Competition law at UCL and I seem to have good chances to get in.

My question now is: with a non qualifying LLB in EU law from a Dutch University and a LLM in EU law/Competition law from UCL, what are my real chances to access the job market?
I am not necessarily interested in practicing law, however is there a point in making such a big investment as living in London for 1 year and studying at UCL - from the employability perspective? In other words, what are my chances to get a job in the private sector?

If anybody could share his/her experience, that would be great :)

Andrea
