Hi Guys, first of all thanks for your replies. I think you people are right i should not write my posts in 'sms" style which is really very annoying and further i could have done more research about Durham LLM by myself as i did for Manchester before asking you people help. Unfortunately i was very busy with some work at this crucial time so couldn't research properly on net and relied more on the former students reviews of these two universities by meeting them personally and most of the times found them confusing like..... university is good but the city is not and you'll not get any part time job , or the rank is 4th and is preferred by the U.K.firms but the modules offered are not good, or the university is a good brand name but not that good for LLM etc. etc.
Hey Arun by the way for your information i have not taken help of any agent for applying to universities but ofcourse got my documents checked before filing Visa and i don't find anything wrong in that , and wonder is this really an issue at all. well i really felt offended by the way people wrote few things in their opinions which was unwarranted and would like to conclude this topic (really don't want to kill time for nothing) hereby and hope to meet you people in U.k.
All the Best Friends.
IT'S URGENT - PLS HELP

Hi Sandeep,
All the best for you too. I'm sorry if any of my posts was offensive and if I got some things in a wrong way. I hope you will be happy with your choice.
By the way, I just read today that Indian law firms are looking for UK LLMs who want to return to India:

Good luck to all of us with the LLM and the job search after the LLM!

Agree with Arun, I also got certain things the wrong way-I thought you asked the agent to write your university application forms.
Good luck!
Keffufle is right: with Durham you will be paying for the brand, with Manchester you will be paying for modules. However, when it comes to getting the job the brand accounts for at least 80/ of your job hunting success. I would have been dishonest if I told you otherwise. I learned this the hard way- went for a particular BA because of modules and, despite the first, could not get a job. City companies just kept telling me that my uni was not on their target list. And it was a good uni! Had to sign up for masters (not in law) in a top-3 uni and got a top job within 1 month of starting the course, 10 months before I even graduated!and exactly 3 months after I abandoned my previous job search, as if I became more knowledgeable during these 3 months! Always go with the best possible brand, employers really do not care as much about the modules (provided that they are not completely irrelevant) as one may think!
Good luck!
