Edinburgh has the best reputation from the ones on this list. Aberdeen if you want to do oil/commodities law. QM for IP, but I would still rate Edinburgh

Of those listed definitely Edinburgh. For IP you really want to go to a well-respected programme as it is a difficult field to enter even with an advanced degree. The programme at Edinburgh is well-known and the faculty is highly-respected world wide. They have a top research centre in the field and run one of the leading peer-reviewed journals (SCRIPTed). Best of luck.

The same comment I gave before applies to innovation, technology and the law. Many of the modules available are also those that are available for the distance learning course in IP law. Many of the same lecturers, too.
Cheers.

I did my LLM at QM 2 years ago and there was no question on where I wanted to go. People from the European Patent Office told me to do my LLM at QM when I asked them for advice. The great thing about QM is that the QM Intellectual Property Research Institute is accredited with the World Intellectual Property Organisation in Geneva and we were able to join some conferences. I also joined the EIPIN congresses which is a collaboration of 5 top IP institutions in Europe and we were able to attend conferences in Switzerland and France. (For further info check: www.eipin.org). The teaching staff is friendly and top of their fields and they have a lot of great courses in IP that go beyond the conventional curriculum. And one should not leave the splendour of London unmentioned. I hope this is of help!
