HELLO GENTLEMEN/LADIES. PLEASE I WOULD NEED SOME HELP WITH MY APPLICATION PROCESS AND CHANCES TO THE PROSPECTIVE INSTITUTIONS I INTEND/CURRENTLY APPLYING TO.

I AM AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FROM GHANA. I UNDERTOOK MY UNDERGRADUATE STUDY IN THE UK AND CAME OUT WITH A 2ND CLASS HONOURS (LOWER). UPON MY RETURN TO GHANA, I UNDERTOOK A SERIES OF WORK EXPERIENCE; FIRST WITH A MEDIUM SCALE COMMERCIAL PRACTICE FIRM IN THE CAPITAL AS AN ASSOCIATE CLERK, WHERE I WAS EXPOSED TO VARIOUS ASPECTS OF COMMERCIAL AND CORPORATE WORK
I ALSO GAINED SIGNIFICANT WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE LEGAL DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY MINISTRY, AFTER-WHICH I PROCEEDED TO THE LAW SCHOOL AND EARN MY PROFFESSIONAL PRACTICE LICENCE.

NOW, I INTEND TO PURSUE AN LLM IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS/COMMERCIAL LAW, WITH ENERGY,ADR(ARBITRATION),MARITIME,FINANCE COURSES ETC. CONSIDERING MY DEFICIENY, I HAVE RULED OUT;UCL, KCL AND LSE(ALTHOUGH I WILL APPLY TO THEM), BUT I AM SERIOUSLY HOPEFUL ON THE FOLLOWING INSTITUTIONS; CITY UNIVERSITY LONDON, QMUL, CARDIFF UNIVERSITY, AND PERHAPS SWANSEA UNIVERSITY. WHAT ARE MY CHANCES. I WILL BE GLAD TO READ ALL OPINIONS. THANKS.

Hiya

Swansea (I am a graduate of) has a very sound LLm programme in Commercial law- especially Arbitration and Litigation Class was great! I also heard from other students that IP courses, E-commerce course were brilliant and you can even get a combined Commercial and Maritime degree.

Best

Thanks guys for the very helpful contributions.
In all of these, which of the mentioned institutions offer a better all round student experience, in terms of quality of teaching, student - tutor relationship, and all round value for money. I know London is a huge pull!
@ Arbitration, I will be very interested if you could add some flesh in your contribution please. Thanks once more.

Whilst pursuing a LLM at Swansea might be a solid choice, choosing one module each from Energy/ADR/Maritime as well as Finance Law certainly is not. (I am sure that such a selection would be prevented by the course design, anyhow. If not, that would be everything you need to know about the program.)
