hey pls suggest which univ is better 4 ll.m. in ipr and tech laws--george washington univ or london school of economics and frm where does one have better prospects especially in view of the 1 year work visa being given by the UK govt after doing one's studies.

Can't comment on GWU, but if you are looking at London for IP then QM has a well established reputation. If you are looking at IP or info tech in the UK, then consider Edinburgh, Essex, Strathclyde (listed alphasbetically). All have specialist programmes focussing on different aspect of law and information technology/communications law.

i apologise. GWU is a great university and i do not mean to blight the institution in anyway.
however if you are intending on coming to the UK for many reasons beyond the nature of the curriculum and institution, do accept your offer from lse as it is certainly the most logical response. working in london, as you have so expressed as a plus point im sure you appreciate. you can disregard opinions over QM or essex etc.

yeah same here as with choices between reputable universities i suppose the only difference relates ultimately to extrinsic factors like standard of living, where you wanna work next time, would u prefer to have white castle burgers or chicken & chips from the kebab store.
