I received an unconditional offer from U. of Edinburgh on December 16, 2009 for the LLM Public International Law. My deadline to accept the offer is February 16, 2009.
I applied by post on October 24 and they acknowledged my application on November 5th, 2008. So I received an offer about one month and a half latter. They were very kind to me and everything no complaints whatsoever!
However, I havent accept the offer but I will decline it because I received an offer from University College London (UCL) and I should receive their letter tomorrow because I asked DHL to send it so it must be here tomorrow at the latest,,,after I have the letter on my hand then I will decline my offer from Edinburgh. Anyway, Edinburgh its an excellent university no doubts and I was ready to go there until UCL accepted me. Well thats it,,,good luck

Pucca, first I should congratulate you on your offers! Furthermore, I would like to thank-you for your reply. I applied about a month after you did, so I hope to hear from Edinburgh soon. If I do not by the end of this week, I plan on giving them a call...
I would, however, like to ask you how you were informed about the offer, via mail, EUCLID, or post?

Edinburgh sends an email asking you to log on to EUCLID to view the result.

Hi tinkerbell :) thanks for your wishes. Well i was informed via EUCLID. By the way that system works very very well.
But also contacted via e-mail because I informed them i had an scholarship deadline so then contacted me and wanted to help me a lot! Very kind by the way and answered to my questions pretty fast. I was contacted by Emily Morris who is part of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, specifically Law School Support. Her email address is emorris@staffmail.ed.ac.uk in case you need to contact them. Her email appears on the university website as well.
Good luck :)

That is right Interalia they send you a message as soon as they post their decision on the EUCLID site so thats nice because you have have to be checking your status every single hour!! When you receive that email you sure have an answer posted already!
The message reads as follows:
We have just sent you a message about your application to study at the University of Edinburgh.
You can access this message through the EUCLID channel within MyEd by logging in at
https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk.
In case you dont see your deadline to reply to the offer (like it happened to me) you can write an email directly to EUCLID support which is:
EUCLID_Student_Support@ed.ac.uk
and they will answer you as soon as possible.
Bye :)

Hi everyone,
I also got an offer from Edinburgh uni for Llm in european law, so far only conditional, cause i have to declare IELTS certificate as I am not English native speaker...
But i submitted my online application on 10th January and they responded to me on 2nd February, so not that bad I suppose..
Is anyone going for the opening day of uni on 20th March?

If you have specific questions about the dorms I may be able to help. I did live in university housing and still have friends that do and would be happy to help if possible.
Cheers.
Cheers.
