Hi,
I'm a lawyer from India, currently practicing in a prestigious law firm and want to pursue my LLM in Maritime Law from either Southampton/NUS (Singapore). I have been meaning to ask whether any foreign LLM degree holders (specifically Indians) if they landed a job in the UK practicing Maritime Law.
The inputs I have received from my mates is that UK is great for studies but there are practically no jobs for foreign lawyers or any other foreign professionals for that matter. Is that the ground reality?
Is there any other country is Europe where I can land a job in Maritime Law after the LLM? Or will the LLM from UK would be just another addition to me CV.
I would love to hear from anyone already practicing in the field rather than a person who speaking out of a research on Google.
And any help regarding scholarships/funding for LLM in Southampton will be much appreciated.
Thanks in anticipation. :)
