That is true.However my policy has always been to study what I'm interested in, thereby increasing my chances of doing well. Also if you get a very good LLM in Criminal Law from a good college this demonstrates an ability to work hard and to think, surely qualities any employer would look for. Thats my theory anyway. Still working for the DPP in Ireland or the CPC would be fascinating if not lucrative.

Hello criminalawyer, I also got an offer for the Criminal Justice MSc in Oxford, I haven't heard from my college place yet.
Did you get yours? What did you choose in the end among all these offers?

I'm about to apply to Cambridge MPhil in Criminology soon as well. Could you say it's easier to get an offer from Cambridge than Oxford considering the criminology courses?
