ok here is the situation..
My GPA is slightly under upper second class honour degree . its a high lower second class honour degree with some work experince ( 2 years)
I got accepted at sheffield but didnt recieve the offer letter yet and its taking forever . so am afraid it will consist of some kind of wierd conditions ( i got one like that from Sussex, they want me to raise my GPA to a high upper second class honour degree) .
Therefore and since i have 2 copies left of my Refrence Letters i dicided to apply for another 2 universities as a backup in case i couldnt fill Sheffield's offer .
I want a University who would probably accept me or lets say not much of a risk :-) ( by the way I got rejected from Bristol , Edinburgh and Exeter)
SO my choises are:
Glasgow , Hull , Cardiff , Lancaster , East Anglia
Remmber i can only chose 2 of those . Need opinions As soon as possible .
I know Glasgow beat them all but not that easy to get accepted espically with my current GPA.. what do you think ?
Confused..

Anoos, when did you apply at Sheffield? I applied back in mid-December and received Sheffield´s offer less than one month later, and their letter stated clearly that it was an unconditional offer. I rejected the offer though since I chose Glasgow instead. Anyway, since you say that you were accepted but only haven´t received the offer letter yet, what did their email say (I asume you got accepted by email)? They won´t bring up any conditions when their first acceptance note was unconditional. As I said earlier: before you send out any more applications at this point you should first check whether everything´s ok with Sheffield. Call them and ask, they will tell you.

Matthias , I received their offer , its conditional . The condition is to graduate with 2:1 equivalent ... am not sure what a 2:1 equals and actually as i said earlier I will probably graduate with high lower second class honor degree (current GPA is 65). And as its my last semester i wont be able to raise it much more. So I tried to explain my situation to them if they keep the condition then I will have to reject the offer.
Anyway I might see you in Glasgow, I applied to them today. Even though I still prefer Sheffield. (guess Sheffield will be warmer).
Miller yes your right my subject is Commercial Law.
Matthias whats your program? And can you tell me why did you prefer Glasgow over Sheffield.

LOL Anoos, I think you´re right, Glasgow ist´t famous for its tropical weather...
I will do GGSL´s IP and Telecommunications Law program which is taught on Strathclyde campus, the Commercial Law track which you applied for will be taught on U. of Glasgow´s campus.
Well, I chose Glasgow over Sheffield (and over a couple of other English unis) because I am interested to visit and live in Scotland, more than in England. Then of course the LL.M. program itself sounds very interesting. Another point for me was that I have a good friend living in Glasgow who I am looking forward to hang out with a lot, lol. Then of course Glasgow has Ryanair which I hope to use a lot to get to London every now and then for a handful pounds or to Ireland or other places. So Glasgow just seemed the perfect choice for me back then when I finally made my decision. Sheffield sounded very interesting for me too, it isn´t such a big city, and the university seems to care for and support their students very well. Plus Sheffield seems to be one of UK´s most affordable places.
But didn´t you recently say that you had already received a safe offer from another university?
