Looking at the statistics from previous years;

In 2015/2016, 147 students applied for the PHD. 54 offers were made. 24 students ultimately confirmed attendance.

So I guess there is still hope for all waiting.

I'm wondering whether the faculty are prioritising gates Scholarship applicants perhaps? I didn't apply for gates and just curious as to whether the offer holders did?

Bgg never mentioned one way or the other and Joeyman said that he was interviewed. They are the two offer holder on this thread. So it is a stretch to make that conclusion.

Excuse me for not being clear. What I meant is the following: if you are a current LL.M. student and assuming that you hold a first class LLB, will Cambridge make an offer conditional upon your LL.M. grade being first class?

Is this your first LLM? Also, are you a US or UK LLM student? I am trying to figure out their pattern as regards conditions because last year they made 1st class conditional offers to all Cambridge LLM students and apparently this is not true for students from other universities.

I know 5 other offer holders (2 from student room, 2 who were classmates at Cambridge and 1 from here and all were interviewed.

So seeing as the known offer holders were all interviewed and I am not aware of any current offer holder who was not interviewed (I may be wrong and stand duly corrected), that looked like a pattern.

However with about 50 places up for grabs, there are still many places to fill so we will all hear back in due course somehow.
