Thank you very much legal life, I really didn't think that at the end of March we would still be waiting for a decision! I just hope that we hear good news and that this delay is not a bad sign. I am especially hopeful for you, you have been so helpful on many threads, good things come to those who wait and be sure to keep me posted on any progress. I will do the same, I have this sinking feeling of seeing application unsuccessful but I guess that all of us feel that way!
Yes I do think it was nice of them to do that, it does probably mean I am waiting even longer though!

I'm a first time poster that is still at UCDC. I have a funding question that I'm hoping someone on this page would be able to answer. Since many Cambridge Trust scholarships have been announced and I assume that the Cambridge international scholarship board has made their allotments for this year, if we get a PhD offer this or next week are we too late to have a realistic chance at getting Trust funding?

The Trust makes decisions all through next month. The awards so far made are very very very few in comparison with the awards that the Trust makes. I have not seen any college awards yet and many faculties have not yet made the faculty specific awards. There are also a number of funds administered by the Trust that have not been listed as well. The Trust is not yet anywhere near done.

To be quite honest, I am not very sure I will get an offer because of many other reasons.
The Criminology department does not usually have that many applications so I expect that you should hear back soon.

My status changed to "Application Unsuccessful" an hour ago. I wish you all good luck! Arsene Wenger out.

So sorry Arsenewenger! Please stay hopeful and positive, wishing you all the best!
Legal life - my application changed twice today since it went to crim, first transferred to another department and now papers with department - whatever that means!
Hopefully soon we will hear good news :)
