Yes. The first year of the PhD is a programme leading to the award of a Certificate of Postgraduate Study in Legal Studies. If you successfully pass the first year, you are retrospectively registered for the PhD. You can read more here: https://www.law.cam.ac.uk/phd-programme

Finally received the offer!!! I was on Decision Pending since the 5th February

Did everyone who was on decision pending receive an acceptance offer? Or did someone get rejected as well?

I think no one in this thread got rejected after moving to DP, and it seems very unlikely for this to happen in general tbh.

Hey guys I got in today :) Thank you all for providing your updates throughout the month so that I could keep a sense of when to be mentally ready for rejection acceptance. To those of you still waiting for the results and maybe assuming the worst, I know how you feel (me last year for LLM stuff) but ultimately it’s not that important
