I dont think it necessarily implies that there is a rejection coming. You might get an offer without interviewing, or the interview invite might come later on, I do think that they keep interviewing for quite a long time :)

I am yet to receive an interview invite - does this mean that I'm looking at a potential rejection or is there a possibility of more invites going out? I left my supervisor column blank!

Haven't received an interview invitation yet and my supervisor also didn't get any news from the degree committee regarding my application. Does it mean this is probably a bad signal by this time?

Not at all - especially if you already know your potential supervisor. Did you study at Cambridge before? they do not interview every candidate they are offering a place to, especially if they already know you

Hi thanks for your reply. i'm a current LLM student at Cambridge. My potential supervisor is one of my lecturer who agreed to supervise me as long as my application can pass the committee's selection. She's not involved the DC so she could not give me any guidance on the application process. I was actually expecting my potential supervisor to be informed by the DC about my application and then for her to decide whether or not to do an interview...

Why would she interview you if she already know you and your project? it is really unlikely that she would do that if she knows you already! I would personally feel very chill about this. it is usually the case that they do not interview cambridge students.

I am a Cambridge LL.M. student as well, and had my interview today. I haven't spoken to my potential supervisor beforehand, and I don't think that there is a "rule" that Cambridge students don't get interviewed.

For those that have had interviews already - are the questions generally just about your proposal? Not sure what to expect!!

Just received a reply from the Faculty: "We are aiming to have reached decisions by the end of February." Does it mean interviews are still likely to be rolled out in early - mid Feb until everyone's portal finally changes status at the end of Feb?
Btw I'm still waiting for interview invitations not sure if I should start losing hope or not

Was this a generic email or had you reached out? I haven’t received anything! I think still time for interviews to occur. And also, you might get an offer without an interview so no need to lose hope yet!

I emailed the Faculty asking whether all interviews have rolled out yet. They didn't respond to my questions but instead told me that ↑

Sorry to bother you all with my own sense of foreboding and anxiety, but has anybody received an interview invite off late? I am yet to receive one and I am really disappointed with my situation. My area of interest lies in public law.

Congrats! I heard Cambridge recently updated their portal system. Decision pending is now the new version of PAO

Hi, my status still says: Submitted - Your application has been submitted. Your application number will be generated within 2 working days. (Although I have an application number).  Does anyone know if this is a bad sign?
