I am still under review. For those who have received offers - how many weeks were you given to accept? I suspect those remaining have been effectively waitlisted, so it may be some time for us remainers before we find out for certain.
Cambridge LLM 2019 - 2020 Applicants

Hi everyone. I'm in the same situation, still under review. However my concern is that I have not provided my IELTS results on the deadline and today I have stumbled upon this on Cambridge's website:
Unlike other parts of the University, the Faculty of Law requires submission of language tests results by the application deadline. The LLM Committee will not consider applications without the required language test results
Do you think I'll be rejected because of this alone? :(

No, I don't think so, there was an option in the application form that "I have booked a test" and even "I am going to book a test". I haven't done it either and I have the same status.

My status just changed to unsuccessful – good luck everyone!

Me too! Maybe people who have received offers can confirm if all of them had already submitted IELTS score.

Then why does it say the following:
Deadline for submission of language test results: 12 noon (midday) UK time on 5 December 2018
Do you think they are willing to overlook this?

This is generally a rule, but they are flexible

I am also still under review by Department.

That's great, thanks. Hopefully it is the case

I submitted my TOEFL score report together with my application.

.Are you sure? I hope we have not made a huge mistake. But I remember very clearly that my friends who have completed Cambridge LLM a couple of years ago, gave their IELTS after getting offers.

Actually I found out this rule about the deadline for submission of IELTS on December 3. I panicked and contacted a friend of mine who made her LLM in Cambridge in 2017-2018. She said that they are flexible. Then the suggestion of my friend was confirmed by the beforementioned options. And besides, who would have been rejected at the very beginning if this was a strict rule. May be I am wrong, but I don't think so.

As far as I understood, it is a new requirement that was introduced last year for applications 2018-2019

My application is unsuccessful guys.

I was just reading last year's posts. People did get conditional offers last year as well despite their being a deadline of December 10, 2017 to submit the score. Hopefully, it would be the same for us.

Sorry to hear that... I hope it's not because of the IELTS as I am in the same situation.

My application is unsuccessful as well.

To anyone who has been successful, what do you think are traits that Cambridge look for in applicants / what do you think made your application stand out?

My application is unsuccessful as well.
I am sorry to hear :( What about next year?

I don't know, then why didn't they reject us immediately. But may be somebody can help us out with our guessing... What about successful applicants, is there somebody without test results?
