My status just updated : "Application unsuccessful"

Just fyi - so yes, they do still reject.

Were you in UCDC??


Hey, yes I was. Went straight from UCDC after 4 over months to "application unsuccessful". Also have a first class honours degree in law from a good UK uni. So who knows. Maybe my application didn't make it through all the rounds of assessment - it went someway but just not all the way, which would explain the delay.

I will be joining you soon as well, I think.

Personally, I feel this process has been outrageously handled and demonstrates a failure in a duty of care to the applicants involved.

No way should they have kept you this long, especially with this outcome.

Thanks Vari57! But I wish you and all the rest waiting the best of luck! The only reason I wanted to share my unsuccessful status is because I would have wanted to know that a rejection was still possible if I was still in DC land. Good luck to the remaining few waiting to hear!

Same! My application status changed to unsuccessful today after being DC for the last few months. Seems like anything is possible in the DC land. Pity that such a reputed university put the recently unsuccessful applicants through such a pathetic process. Anyhow,

Same! My application status changed to unsuccessful today after being DC for the last few months. Seems like anything is possible in the DC land. Pity that such a reputed university put the recently unsuccessful applicants through such a pathetic process. Anyhow,

I cannot for the life of me understand why they have kept us like this for so long, in limbo, only to then reject and refuse to answer our calls/emails.

I'll be with you soon. Still DC for now.

Who wants to bet that my prediction will come true and I'll be the last person to get rejected? lol

I should think that this thread will stand for years to come as the worst possible advert for the Cambridge LLM, because I reckon many future applicants will see what we have all been put through and some may judge it not worth the effort.

I was told that I have been recommended for admission on the phone by Miss Wade, though my status is still UCDC. I am starting to worry a bit. I wish they'd just release everything all together. Do you think they are done for the day with regard to the status changes!?

I have been recommended for admission which means I am probably at the Bogs stage, but my self-service doesn't reflect that though I think quite a few people have been bogsed on their self-service in the last two days.
