Good news perhaps for those who are waiting for their Camsis page to be updated (or in a sense, confirming what had been stated above about the BOGS status): I sent an email to Ms. Wade today and just got a reply that I'd been made an offer (!) but that she could not say when my self-service page would be updated.

I may just do that! I know it's a bit irrational to be worried at this point but I'd just like to get the confirmation and move on. Did you ask her specifically about whether you had an offer?

I asked whether or not the fact that I hadn't heard anything after the deadline of March 15th meant that I shouldn't expect to receive an offer :)

Hi! I just did the same and got the same reply! Except the reply came in thirty seconds and seems automated, which I'm a little confused about. Wouldn't they at least check my application before stating that an offer had been made?

Oh that's strange she took about 2 hours to answer my email.

Does anybody know whether we need to meet all of the conditions first before the colleges consider our application.
The situation is that my scholarships confirmation letter would not be ready until late April or early May.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

I have not received my offer yet but I have had BoGS since some time last week. I contacted Ms Wade to ask about the status of my application and she advised that I did in fact have an offer and that it was simply being processed by the Graduate Admissions Office. So if you have not yet received your offer yet and you have the BoGS status, relax -- it is likely that you will receive your offer soon enough.

Hi eosphoros. How much time did Ms. Wade take to reply to your mail??
Posted Mar 19, 2015 14:41
I spoke to her on the phone

Not at all since admission to the college itself is a condition. Your college will consider your application when you get an offer. It may take a while to get a college though if you applied to the more popular ones.

Conditional offer made! I hope to see you all in Cambridgeshire in a few months!

I finally now also have my conditional offer!

Congrats to the new offerees!
Did anyone have his college membership approved?
I am under consideration by college for a week now and we all have read about some applicants whose first choice college membership was rejected and they are under consideration by other colleges now.

I´m still seeking college membership :)
Posted Mar 19, 2015 21:31
I'm also still seeking college membership and unfortunately my offer came with an almost nigh impossible academic requirement which hopefully will be adjusted (anybody with experience of this, would be interested to hear your experiences)... as well as my fee status being different from what I had expected (overseas as opposed to EU).
Posted Mar 19, 2015 21:38
I have the same issue with the fee status. Called them up and they said that they are always on the side of caution with these things and that as long as I fill in a form and provide all the necessary evidence then they will change the status.
I have double nationality and, since one of my nationalities is overseas, they decided to go with that. However, I have lived my whole life in the EU and obviously done my schooling here, Finnish being listed as my mother tongue. Not to mention that I was classified as EU when I studied for my LLB in England. So I expect that they will adjust the status once I get my forms in.

Hm yes for me the issue is more complicated, as I only have one citizenship from outside the EU, and permanent residency within the EU as I've lived here most of my life in any case, I'm just going to wait for their answer and see how things turn out. Hopefully I can still qualify for EU status.
