Cambridge LL.M. Applicants 2023-2024

Does that make any difference?

I was in top 5% though and had only mentioned in CV. Still under review

Is there any applicant who is in top 3% of his/her batch and still hasn’t been PAO’d till now?

Sorry, quick question - did you mention your ranking in the CV or was it in your transcript?

Congratulations!

But, right now? Whoa. So there could be movements even beyond regular working hours. Thanks for informing us!

Yep I was in the top 2 or 3 in my cohort of ~500, but my University doesn't do rankings

Me. But I had actually mentioned top 5% in my CV too.

i feel like rsnkinf really isn’t everything! Spoke to admissions and they said they try to look as holistically as possible (Ie last year I ranked at around 20% of cohort, but got PAO other day - so I really wouldn’t worry too much about percentage)

Snatch this one from somewhere, couldn’t remember. Some might be interested. It has countries, grades, and universities of those who got an offer in 2020-2021.

This is very informative and makes the admissions process quite transparent. A lot of other unis (Oxford, LSE and King's) have also provided similar data. I was surprised (and relieved) to see a few 2:1s. I think they really do assess applications holistically, and there are no sure-shot indications/guarantees of admission!

Can you or someone share the link to the Oxford one too, please? Thank you :)

To those still waiting, I have hope for you. It doesn't seem as though there is a fixed pattern to their method this year.

I'm wondering how many colleagues are still waiting compared to over 30 PAO in this thread? Finger crossed for us

Well, I'd say we seem to be in the minority for sure. Most active members seem to have moved to PAO already.

Has anyone moved beyond PAO? Or heard from the faculty as to when this might happen?
If not, im going into squire tomorrow for lectures so might go and ask the staff if they have any indication as to timescale.

Any luck finding out when we might expect to be moved beyond PAO?

i got a very vague answer - of it being done ‘soon’ but it no longer being in the law faculty’s hands.

I’m really hoping it’ll be within the next week

This is specifically with regard to those in PAO, right? Not all of us under review.

Would really love if they would just put us out of our misery either way at this point - whether bad or good news!  Finding this week in particular really stressful.

Just checked the portal. I have been unsuccessful. Congratulations to everyone who has moved to PAO, and best of luck to everyone waiting! :)
