I don't think that is the case, owing to the fact that an insignificant amount of people have reported being either rejected or accepted. I personally feel that, due to the strikes at the university and potentially an increase in the number of applicants, it has resulted in, to put it kindly, slow communication.

Agreed!
I think too that the communication is just slow and that we have to be patient.

Just made an account to say that my portal changed to "Awaiting approval by PAO" in the last couple of days (I had given up on checking)
Posted Mar 26, 2022 04:11
My status just changed to “awaiting approval by PAO” today, and the Faculty of Law replied to an e-mail I sent last week saying that they recommended me for a conditional offer.
Does anyone know if the conditional offer means that there were documents missing from my application? Because I already submitted my language exame grades, so I’m not sure what condition I still have to meet…

Congratulations! Conditional offer means the current non-fulfilment of a condition, perhaps you haven't obtained your final degree yet? In any case, your offer will give you the details

Congrats to each of you!
can someone put my soul to rest and tell me whether there might be movement this weekend? I need a break.

Congratulations!!! I remember reading somewhere on LLM guide that all offers are conditional since college placements are pending. The PAO website says: 'It will be a condition of your offer that you accept membership from one of the Colleges of the University. All those receiving conditional offers from the University will in due course receive such membership.' Of course there might also be another condition, but if you can't think of any, that may just be it :)

I’ve written about the conditional offer at cam a couple of times already, so I’d direct you there re extensive details on all the 6 or so conditions that will likely be there. In any case, the gist of it is that cam will *always* give conditional offers no matter what. Reason being they have loads of admin stuff as “conditions”, e.g., college allocation, uploading a pic for your cam card, sending a financial declaration form, etc. Due to all of that, you’ll also get a really long time to accept the offer - around 31 July.
TL;DR: Unconditional offers don’t exist at cam.

Just moved to PAO! I checked on Sunday evening so it has likely happened this morning.
Good luck to everybody!! I was already a bit disheartened because of the long wait, hang on there. This group has been so useful. I hope to see many of you at Cambridge.

Moved to PAO at some point in last few hours. The wait was long but probably we knew all along, it would be worth it. However it ends for everyone, grateful for the warmth and support received from this discussion. Best of luck!

Would you mind sharing the body of the email? I am planning on sending one seeking some form of clarity as to the progress and I don’t want to come across as standoffish.

Moved to PAO. Going by past years, will it take 10-15 days to receive the offer this year also? By then we'll have missed offer acceptance deadline of all other unis

I have been at PAO for 26 days so far, still no decision - hopefully they start to move faster over the next week or two. Best of luck to everyone!
