Rejected for the BCL, but just received an offer for the LLM in Cambridge. Hope to see you there! :)

Do you mind sharing when your application progressed to the PAO?

Still under review for me.
Perhaps I am getting ahead of myself by asking this question...
Does anyone know if this is the full list of papers offered for 2021-2022? There appears to be some papers missing in the list. https://llm.law.cam.ac.uk/about-cambridge-llm-programme/papers-offer-2021-22
I am looking to enroll in certain subjects for the LLM program, e.g. WTO law, and I am now worried that those subjects will not be on offer for 2023.
The professors that teach those subjects are in the faculty but for some reason their subjects were not listed in the 2021-2022 list.
Tried emailing the faculty on this and their answer was that the full list of papers in 2022-2023 is not available yet.

I am more than happy to help as I benefitted from this forum myself a lot. Also, if someone has a very specific question, feel free to send me a PM.
As to the question raised in this thread about my PAO movement: I moved to PAO on 2 March 2022. Hope this helps.

Anyone moved to PAO? still under review here.
Also, did someone mention that the PAO might be skipped on the portal given how late Cambridge are?

Unfortunately, this is the case with virtually all UK law schools. Lecturers go on sabbatticals, maternity leave, etc. You rarely know what subjects they will offer until the subject list is ready, which often might be as late as Juy/August, and some subjects might then be dropped while others are added. Fac does not necessarily know about the lecturers’ plans at this point. You might be able to reach the lecturers directly to inquire, though (but be brief and polite about it ofc).

Huge congratulations! I've just started to worry, I've been in PAO since 2 March as well, but no response so far...

You already have an offer for the prestigious MJur. Nothing to worry about!

Yeah, I know, first world problems, sorry for my insensibility...
Still it would be great to have an offer from Cambridge as well, I am hoping for scholarships... We'll see. Fingers crossed for everyone waiting and I really hope that this week will be the end of this awful waiting process

What are the chances we hear back this week? I know I might as well ask how long a piece of string is at this point haha

I really hope we hear back soon. I've been so unproductive just waiting to hear back either way. It's ridiculous at this stage.

I have contacted the law faculty for more information on response times, and they sent me exactly the same thing they sent to another forum member 2 weeks ago: "The LLM application decisions have been made but are still being sent out. Your online account will be updated to show your application outcome as soon as possible."
I don't really know how "as soon as possible" translates into more than two weeks without progress: did they lose the passwords? Is the wifi that bad in Cambridge?

Technically the second full week of industrial action was scheduled this week. Might influence it.

Anybody with some news? I am still under review...

No change to report here. Starting to feel like I am going to be "under review" forever.

Is it possible that everyone still under review is unsucessful? given that people already have offers.
