In threads from other years it seems that the portal updates keep coming even several days beyond their deadline for decisions. Still, I believe no one from our year got a "moving to PAO" yet? Only rejections so far? Isn't that unusual?

Looks like this week is just gonna be a bunch of rejections.

Australian who has been unsuccessful. Portal changed in the last few hours. No email.

I think the admission team is now at lunch. For last one hour there has been no movements. This year Cambridge has been very very slow. On the brighter side, the Cambridge applicants community herein have been very cordial. I appreciate all those who with a sad state of mind reported the rejections here. I hope your applications will be successful in other programmes. All the best wishes for you! 

Think they're back from lunch - South African, LLM application unsuccessful. Portal changed in the last 20 minutes or so. In terms of application content - I graduated with a high first, clerked at the Constitutional Court, work at a top tier firm and have a couple of applications. Sorry to everyone else who has not been successful so far; and fingers crossed for the rest of you!

100% agree - I must have refreshed that portal over 100 times in the last 24 hours; absolutely torturous. It would definitely be kinder to just have an automated message go out to all applicants simultaneously!

Does anyone know when we will start seeing 'awaiting approval by PAO' notifications?

Hey guys, I just made an account to let you guys know that my app was unsuccessful. My surname begins with a W and my first name with a Z. I submitted my application a week before the deadline. I did not get an email (checked my spam box too). 

It is clear that the later you get a notification the more chance of success, they hand out rejections first.
