I have my doubts about them moving according to regions.
I've made another guess, no more qualified, that they might be moving groups in batches belonging to different stages. Meaning, those who were rejected at the department stage will receive their rejections first, then the ones rejected at the degree committee stage after, and at last, the ones who made it to PAO.
I know our portals says awaiting review by department, but we have either progressed passed that stage or been rejected by now, its simply that they have not taken the time to update 'awaiting approval by degree committee'.
But again, this is only a guess based on their disclosed procedure https://www.postgraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/application-process/what-happens-next

Has anyone heard of any acceptances as yet?
Posted Mar 02, 2022 10:12
Has anyone in the UK called the admissions team? Going off previous threads both on LLM Guide and The Student Room, to have had 0 applications reported as moving to PAO stage by 2 March is completely out of the ordinary and justifies some sort of enquiry.

Hang in there boys and girls... hang in there

Thank you those who have shared your updates.
People who have received word on the outcome - are you hearing from the University over email as well as portal, or only on the portal?
Posted Mar 02, 2022 12:05
Hey, I have been rejected for the LLM programme (my portal was updated).
I also got an email (but it went to my spam).
I am from India, if it matters.
To all who are still in the fray - wishing you the best :)

thank you for sharing the details and good luck with your other apps!
would you mind sharing when your status changed on the portal?

Hi all, my application was unsuccessful. I had been refreshing the page every half hour haha, so it happened in the last 30 mins. All the best to everyone! For those that get in, I hope that you have the best experience! For your information, I am Australian, got first class honours in law and have experience in international law, which is what I plan to specialise in one day. I currently work at a top tier law firm and have co-authored a journal article and book chapter (and have other smaller publications). All the best to everyone, I hope you all enjoy your post grad studies, wherever you undertake them :)

Good morning all
I'm a UK student and I'm showing "under review".
Posted Mar 02, 2022 12:51
The region hypothesis might be plausible if we establish that no UK student has seen their status changed yet (I'm UK, still under review)

I'm pretty sure there's a UK student with a rejection up thread.
There's also an Aussie student up thread with a rejection, and I'm Aussie and am still under review.

Maybe it's a home/overseas distinction.
I'm Polish but study in the UK and qualify for the home fees.
Also under review.

I love how this wait is turning us into amateur Poirot detectives.

Same here if you don't mind?

Still "under review" over here too. I am Canadian, if it helps anyone in finding a pattern.
