Cambridge LL.M. 2014 - 2015 Applicants

no offence, but your grammar and spelling isn't top notch, but ill give u the benefit of the doubt if u think ure 'competent'. lol

No offence either, but writing things like 'u', 'isn't' instead of 'aren't', and 'ure' could hardly count as 'top notch' spelling either.

lol. yup they arent. but this isnt an essay i have to write is it? im referring to the obvious mistakes hes making. not these trivial ones. if ure smart enough ull get what i mean. 'acquainces'? really? 'Two days left, I can't imagine if I couldn't receive offer. I think I'm competent.' if u cant see the irony i cant help u.

Who gives a fuck?

I don't think this is the forum or the time to start getting nasty. I think this is a hard time for everyone and we need to be supportive.

Agreed. As candidates/applicants to a Masters of Law program at one of the world'a top universities I would like to think most of us are mature enough not to post such useless comments.

Has anyone, whose status changed to BoGS last Saturday (8 March), received their conditional offers yet? Especially UK final year undergrads? Thanks! (:

Those who will not have heard anything by tonight will not have made it into Cambridge.

They will have been rejected.

I wouldn't read anything into it - I took several days more to move from bogs to offer than others who were bogs'd on the same day. Myself and someone else from my undergraduate uni moved to offer on the same day - it made me think the delay could have been due to verification with my undergrad uni than on cam's part. (Purely speculation but it struck me as otherwise unusual. Either way, it shows that there isn't a set period for progressing from bogs to offer.)

Same here, at least since Saturday. Not a UK final year undergrad, though.

yeah that's a plausible conjecture as well (: does this mean they check with the referees or with the department administrator.

Are there Dutch students (so not an exchange student) who received an offer or saw a change on their tracker?

I would be interested to know - does anyone know of any concrete examples of the BoGS not making an offer after recommendation to do so by the Degree Committee?

Hey, so did anyone from India hear back from Cambridge? Just thought I will check before I officially write off my chances. :(

Uhm, interesting, because you are the first person living in the Netherlands who have received an offer (on this forum and the students I know in real life). Maybe it's because of your nationality? :D Just 1,5 days left. I'm curious.

There has only been ONE update on this forum as far as Indian applicants are concerned. I am in the same boat as you. No change in status.

It might be. From which university are you?

I was rejected last year. I was working on my application during this year, tidied it up, got a higher IELTS score and just a minute ago my status changed to 'offer made'. Currently floating on cloud nine.

Good luck guys and never give up!
