Hello everyone,
My application status was changed to "unsuccessful" this morning.
Background: I am Canadian and have a Bachelor of Journalism and JD from two averagely-ranked Canadian universities. I graduated in the top 5-10% of my class for both degrees. I'm currently working as a law clerk (I think they're called "judicial assistants" elsewhere) and will be called to the bar in June. I have a few publications and a few years other professional experience.
Hope this information is helpful and best of luck to those still waiting.

Sorry to hear about this and thank you for sharing this with us. If you do not mind me asking, were you alerted by email or did you randomly check? Also, has anybody else receive the outcome of the applications yet?

I checked randomly. No email informing the rejection.

My apologies for being sceptical, but how is it possible to have received it one month before the official date?

I don't think there's any reason to doubt. I have also just received an offer by email. :)

I also just received an offer for the LLM. Notification was through email and says "I am delighted to write with news that you will in due course receive a formal offer for admission to the Cambridge LLM programme for the academic year 2018-19." My status in the Applicant Portal is still "Under review by department".

Congratulations to both of you! Could you please share if your status in the application portal changed? And do they say something in the e-mail regarding the deadline to respond?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Congratulations to both of you and the others! Will be waiting for it as well, mine is still under review. Fingers crossed!

Some people have said that the status has not been changed. Mine is still Under Review. I have no idea what is going on, but apparently we should rely on the email...

A classmate from my law school also received an e-mail with the same news. They included an attached document stating that the offer is conditional (and that all Cambridge's offers are conditional) to: (i) demonstrate you have sufficient money to pay the program; (ii) a college accepts you; and (iii) English level.

so excited. I have been informed that I will shortly receive a conditional offer for the Cambridge LL.M.

Hi! Just received a conditional offer of acceptance :)

Hello everyone,
I have also received an e-mail offering me a place to the LLM program starting in October. However, my status on the applicant portal is still “under review by the department”. I am obviously very excited to receive this news, but I want to make sure first that there is no mistake especially since we are hearing so early compared to last year. I just hope that Cambridge learned from last year’s mistake of overly prolonged admissions process and got their act together this year, and that that’s the reason for these early responses. Anyway just to make sure I am going to call the admissions office in the morning just for my own peace of mind.

I have received a conditional offer as well. Just checked my online account status and it is still under review by the department though. Weird! But I would rely more on the e-mail than that. :) Congrats everyone!

Hi all! Congratulations on your offers.
May I ask why my status is still “submitted”?... BTW, I am applying to the postgrad diploma in intl law.
Thanks.
