What are your thoughts?

Personally, I'd go for Durham but both are strong universities so really I guess it depends o which supply more suitable modules- my memory tells me that both are quite limited in their options.

Bristol is a bigger city! And the Uni is great as well apparently. Both are good but I am still undecided

Ok.. Durham takes the edge... I can see that... lol
In terms of city Bristol is nice as well.. really comes down to the place.

If you want a vibrate city with a modern edge then I'd go for Bristol- the law school is in a nice part of town and there are a the city itself provides you with lots of entertainment. If, however, you are looking for a historic town which doesn't offer comparable shopping but offers the charm and warmth of a more modern Cambridge then go for Durham- Newcastle is about 20 mins away on the train so you have fairly entertaining city within reach. Have you tried visiting either or are you coming to the UK from the other side of the globe?

Oh, and I meant how the modules related to what you wanted to study!

Well... both appeal to me..I am in the energy sector..so lots of contract, lots of trade, commercial issues and I want to have this extra qualification from one of them.

I don't want to go to London and I thought either of them would be great.

Ah, I am in the E.U lol

I also plan to apply for Durham. Do you think April might be too late for applying?

I wouldn't worry about applying in the spring time, that should be fine. It is only the major institutions that really require early application.

There's no harm in applying now. If you meet their academic standards and they still have places in the roster of the entering LLM class, you will have a good chance of being offered admission. Good luck.

Yes I agree, There is no harm on applying on the spring I agree, but the earlier the better!!!!

Gives you more time to think about it and make decisions.
