Guys, because it is late and I am bored (there is no Legal India and GeorgeP around to keep me amused :-), here is the question/pall for you...Which law firm have you been impressed by the most? Not impressed? I guess a few of you have decent experience by now...My thoughts as per experience:
Impressed: Jones Day, Nabarro and Clifford Chance (but the partner has left) - UK, Linklaters - Germany, Cameron McKenna - Russia, Klein Law (formerly RKS, Switzerland)
Not impressed: Clifford Chance - Russia, Ashurst - France, White & Case - Russia, Freshfields - UK
Clear winners: Linklaters - Germany & Klein - Switzerland
Over to you...

Well if you're interested in the Arabic Gulf region (Dubai, Qatar...) and by decreasing order: Clifford Chance, Norton Rose, Simmons & Simmons, and Baker & McKenzie.
I had some bad experience with a couple of others law firms but I will not say which ones :)!

Thank you, very useful. I am actually planning to go on investor trip in the Gulf, I'll bear what you said in mind
