Would you say that (if one does not gain any scholarships / grants) it would be worthwhile funding ones own BCL?

If grants were available for the Cambridge LLM - and none for the BCL - which would you take?

The BCL's better. But they're both top-notch degrees. Don't lose too much sleep over it.
