and so, the wait begins

Just submitted my LL.M application today.

i think it is too early to apply..

and some unis will make their offers less than two months, normally one month and a half..

maybe u will receive ur offers soon, it depends on which uuni u have applied..

good luck and all the best.

Which universities are you applying for DB?

I decided to send in my application now, because I have exams coming up soon, and by the time I finish exams, most deadlines would have passed.

I am not sure how I'll go. I already have a training contract at a british firm, but I just want to do an LLM so that I can 'extend' my university life.

Good luck with your applications too.

Lol, thanks for the compliment! ;)

I applied to Cambridge. Its the only university I applied to (and will be applying to).

I'll see what happens. If I don't get in, I'll just work for a few years, and try again. But I hope I do.

*waits nervously*

What's your background capa?

goog luck with ur cambridge application:) as i know, it s deadline is 31st dec.

and i am also very glad to hear that u have got ur tc, which is also the thing i am looking for now:) i do have a tc with a hk firm, but i am trying to find one in the uk, england or wales. the reality is that it is not easy, very difficult in fact, for a foreign, non-eu, graduate to get a tc in london or some other major cities in the uk...

i am thinking to change my career path to IB, if i cannot find a 'good ' tc in london b 4 june.

maybe i will apply cambridge this year as well:) so , there is a possibility that we can be classmates at cambridge, which colleges u had applied.. i have been to kings , trinity, and st john, all of them r extremly good:) for me, my preference is kings for its fab building...

DB,

My tc ('08) is with an MC firm in HK! I am planning to defer my LL.M (if I get it) till after PCLL. I think that PCLL 08 will include extra course modules, so I prefer to start my PCLL in 07, and my LLM in 08. I will ask my firm to defer my tc if possible.

I applied to Darwin 1st pref, and T-Hall 2nd pref. Reason is because my dad went to Darwin, so I decided to apply to his college.

I know that getting a tc is very difficult in london. I went for one interview there, and it was quite an experience!

Are you in your final year at HKU?
